Fantastic reactions. Watching it back as Epstein is in the news again brought up a lot of alarming parallels about an untouchable ruling class that destroy young girls. Not too surprising given that the author of the novel grew up in the same world as Ghislaine Maxwell, at the same time.

Finally caught up. One thing I like about this show is even though there's a long arc, the seasons are clean distinct units. They were clearly worried about not getting renewed and leaving a mess behind - and they were right to be. They left just enough to whet the appetite but not to leave you completely lost and needing more to get some satisfaction out of it. If you're feeling adventurous again at some point in the future, I'd recommend considering a show similarly disrespected by Netflix after spending a huge amount of money to get it, round about the same time, with similarly compartmentalised seasons (though nowhere near as violent) - The OA.
