I’d never looked up the conversion from Exajoules to units I have any real handle on their scale. Turns out it’s.. bigger than I was thinking. So uh, incase interested in scale- that 50k Exajoule explosion is equivalent to about 12 million megatons. To try to scale -that- big number- Hiroshima was 0.015 megatons, total energy of all bombs in WWII ~3 megatons, most modern nuclear weapons are single digit megatons (largest ever 50 MT). You have to go to the biggest volcanic eruptions and big asteroid impacts to bracket the Ilus explosion. Largest volcanic eruption known (27 million years ago) was 250,000 MT and Chicxulub (dinosaur extinction) was around 100 million MT.
