The feast of Yul is here!... or is it? With children missing and mischievous creatures wrecking havoc, who's to say if this winter's celebrations will be happy at all??
We're very excited to share this month's release titled Midwintär's Mourning.
This release comes in at nearly 70 pages!
This month's adventure is designed for players 6th - 8th level but can easily be adjusted to decrease the difficulty for a party between 4th and 5th level.
The adventure takes place on an arctic island with deadly, cold environs and features festive holiday creatures.
December also brings you 15 new statblocks, including dangerous foes like the jotunn troll and other fantastic creatures to will add flair to your games. Jump into a song battle with Mari Lwyd, hop aboard the awakened penguin Admiral Eri's ship, or battle the wicked ogress named Grýla in the arctic wastes!
This month also includes 8 maps! Cross frozen seas, enjoy the festivities of Midwintär, or venture into the chilly snow of Brittlefrost isle.
You'll also find a new player race - the Chilltouched. These humanoids have icy growths on their bodies which serve as natural weapons. From time to time, a Chilltouched will remove a growth of ice from their body and fashion it into a weapon for another as the ultimate sign of respect of their culture.
We also have a new subclass - the Boreal Origin Sorcerer.
Plus! New feats and a new variant rule allowing for character deficiencies to make feats more available to players.
We've got 11 new spells, prepped and ready for easy use in spell card format!
Bring joy to others directly into their homes through use of the conjure chimney spell or fly into the night sky on a summoned flying elk. There's something for everyone! :)
10 new items are available to find in this month's release! Hurl a barrage of snowballs at your enemies with the glove of snowballs, enhance your cold spells with the liber glaciei, and more!
