Community Collaboration: 'The Tears of Gio'

Greetings patrons!

Before November ends, we wanted to share another piece of bonus community content with you all - an artifact called 'The Tears of Gio'.

For this near-mythical item (our first artifact ever with extended lore!), we've partnered with our good friends Beto Lima for the gorgeous artwork and Marcelo Melo for the lore to complement our item stats - bringing you the perfect artifact for your party to quest after or your campaign boss to control!

The following is an excerpt from Marcelo's lore -

She was known as a witch: a crafter of crude charms and tokens to ward against evil; a brewer of concoctions and elixirs that healed disease... or poisoned the wicked....
...the tales state that Gio came across a stray man who was wounded and unconscious... As if under a star-crossed sky, the unthinkable happened: Gio fell in love with the man....
...As time went on, an uncommon and remarkably beautiful relationship developed. It spawned from its twisted and mad infatuation two things of note: a pair of rings, one for each lover. The first was shaped into the likeness of a majestic sea wave. The other ring was made to look like a rocky, seaside cliff. Those rings fit each other perfectly, having been forged by an expert smith from far away... Each ring was able to act as a weapon in disguise, sending forth a shockwave at the will of its wearer. However, the truly wondrous element of the rings was that when close enough (no more than a hand's distance), they would act in unison, reverberating the energy of each individual ring and shielding the couple from all harm....

You can find the rest of the lore in the monthly PDF.

This bonus  content has been added in its entirety at the end of your tier's monthly PDF (so be sure to redownload this month's content before December 1st!)

Attached below are the item cards, you can find the item cards for the individual rings - the Stonewall Piece and the Wavecrasher Piece -  as well as the completed set.

As always you can also find the item cards and their printable versions in the item folders for this month.

Be sure to check out Beto and Marcelo's work and show them some love, and let us know in the comments below how you think these rings would best fit into your games!

Have an idea for a community project? Be sure to let us know! We would love to talk with you.

Keep rolling those dice!
