Hmmm I'm not sure what we are going to do yet. But if we do watch the 2016 one, we will try to go into it with an open mind - K

2025-06-10 14:35:24 +0000 UTCTechnically, the next one is 'Ghostbusters' (2016). It's a reboot with an all-female main cast. It's excessively hated on. It's honestly not *that* bad... but it does feel like they are trying too hard to be constantly funny. I saw it in the theater because I like to support female versions... but I was underwhelmed. Maybe I would enjoy it more now? If you guys want to watch it and decide for yourselves... that's cool. (Just be prepared for more hate directed at the movie than usual.) If you want to skip straight to 'Ghostbusters: Afterlife' (2021)... which follows a more direct line from the original movies... that's cool as well. I'm happy with with whatever you eventually choose. (Most are gonna tell you to skip to 'Afterlife'... but you guys do your own thing, always.)
