'The Right Stuff'... and much more. He is one of my favorite actors... and you guys will definitely be seeing more of him on the channel. Ron Howard is a fondly regarded director who has also done... 'The DaVinci Code'... 'A Beautiful Mind'... 'Willow'... 'Splash'... 'Parenthood'... 'Backdraft'... 'Solo: A Star Wars Story', plus more. (The DaVinci Code seems right up Oliver's alley.)

2025-05-29 08:53:22 +0000 UTCThis was a wonderful watch. Apollo 13 was nominated for 9 Academy Awards, including Best Picture - But lost Best Picture to Braveheart. Which I don't fully agree with. Braveheart is great and epic, but it is very far from historical accuracy. Very far. But it's definitely a rousing watch. I just love Apollo 13 more, myself. I know Octavia was rooting for this one from the beginning. You guys didn't disappoint (you never do).
