I have seen 2 but I've never seen 3. I'm happy to hear that you rank 3 higher than 2! I'm looking forward to watching it for the first time. - K

2025-04-09 14:11:30 +0000 UTCIt's been forever since I watched #2 and #3. I remember being a little underwhelmed by this one after the first. BUT it seems to be well regarded now... so I maybe it's a grower. Looking forward to watching with new eyes. And yep... they bumped up Jennifer to a more established actress back then, Elisabeth Shue (Karate Kid, Adventures in Babysitting, Cocktail)... after the original actress decided not to return due to a family illness. Crispin Glover, who played George, also didn't return. They used archival footage... and put face prosthetics (made for Glover in the first movie) on another actor (and used him to a minimum). My ranking of this trilogy still goes: 1, 3, 2. I was impressed that they got the big flat screen TVs with many, many channels, right on. Also, drones, video chat, wearable technology.
