2025-02-19 15:19:12 +0000 UTCThere is absolutely a contingent of fans who'd like to see Robin & Nancy get together. I doubt it would happen.... and I'm Team Steve all the way for Nancy. But I'm here for every chance of a Robin & Nancy team up... and hopefully build an unlikely friendship. I love their 'opposites' dynamic. It was funny how fast Oliver's mind went there though. I wouldn't have a problem with Nancy & Robin.... but I'm holding out for Steve & Nancy 2.0.

Which I think ties into the fact that she was raised with her value built upon how well she could perform with her powers. Now she has NO powers. And ever since then it’s been downhill. She lost her Dad, lost her friends in Hawkins; she’s not doing well in school and being singled out by bullies and now she thinks her boyfriend might not love her anymore. In her mind, she deserves all the bad things that are happening to her now, because without her powers she’s just a “monster” who doesn’t belong anywhere. That’s also why I think the offer from Owens to potentially restore her powers is so tantalizing to her. In her mind, if she can get those powers back, she will have some self-worth again. Saving the world/her friends is really like a convenient excuse for her, in a way. That’s my interpretation.
