Max just gave him a look like, “go ahead, do it,” albeit looking a little annoyed. I’m not sure why you guys are so hard on Max.

All Max said was, “what I wouldn’t give to see their stupid faces.” I know your instinct is to protect Mike and El’s relationship, but Max is helping El discover her own autonomy, interests, style, and worth. It’s super important for a young girl who has been told what to do, think, feel, and wear for her entire life.
