Nancy and Jonathan's fight is so well written, as you can easily understand both sides and where they're both coming from. Both of them have valid points but cannot see where the other is coming from, with Nancy dealing with sexism and Jonathan with poverty, Jonathan will never go through what Nancy has to at their workplace due to him being a man, and Nancy is much more privileged than Jonathan, and didn't need the job for financial security and college in the future.
