LOTR studies
Added 2023-11-17 03:29:40 +0000 UTCspent the day making studies of lord of the rings! focused mainly on getting colours accurate with focus on textures. understanding where to use a hard edge and soft edge is a very important skill to learn and i feel like i'm improving a lot already. also this is like my first layout study in... forever? ever maybe? i'm always scared of backgrounds but this is a good first step to getting more comfortable!

I'm not sure why but I get legend of Zelda wind waker vibes. The bird view one feels earthly but floaty. While the ghoul seems intimidating I think you captured it well. The picture with frollo and gandalf feels bouncy and in motion. Most fun like I could be there with them
