In this workshop, my goal is to help you create a strong character project for your portfolio with a lineup, poses, and expressions. I’ll explain my character design process from shapes to lines to colours, have a demo where you can ask questions, and I’ll give an assignment based on the lesson where I’ll critique and draw over your work to guide you to an even stronger character piece. And finally, I’ll go over what makes a strong portfolio and review your current portfolios, giving advice on how to strengthen them for the animation industry.
