Added 2023-02-09 01:25:01 +0000 UTCdecided to grow up and go even further back in basics: a greyscale study! i feel like stripping down a study to its most basic value was a really great idea. instead of thinking about what colours to use, i just had to think of the value. i downloaded sam does art's brush set on his patreon since I can never find brushes that work for me. these brushes really helped while I watched his youtube speedpaints. next, I'll (hopefully fingers crossed) be ready to try a colour study! or another greyscale study with more intense lighting. maybe that's the smartest idea but am I impatient or smart? you decide.
