For the initial sketch, I wanted to emphasize a general shape for the composition, like a fluid circle. As you can see in the final line, I didn't really end up with that circle idea. I decided to add a bunch of flowers to spice it up and keep my rough line as the final line. Lately, I can't be bothered to have a tight line. I feel like if I'm trying to improve at drawing, that tightening my final line isn't a great use of my time. That's just a thought I've been having lately. Although my sketches are pretty clean.
When I'm not sure what colours I want in a drawing, I always just colour the things I'm certain about and hope it'll come to me later. Like I was certain I wanted a dark background. And I was certain I wanted warm-toned characters.
Her glove is supposed to be surgical gloves but cut for the gram lol.
