Morning Tea Inktober Process Post

I wanted to make colours but I also wanted to finally use my red ink. After a lot of thought I said yolo and used the red ink. For the first try it well ok, but now I know I have to treat red ink differently than my black ink. My black ink is waterproof but this red clearly isn’t. I tried to do a light wash of the red ink over the flowers at the end but the lines washed away as well so I had to do some fixing up. Little janky but hopefully it’s not too obvious.
The colours in the end aren’t the greatest but I don’t have all the markers I want. I’m going to buy some more colouring pencils tonight and hopefully be able to do better colouring!
I feel like I’ve figured out inking, next step is to figure out how to colour!
