NEWS - August Update, and Hiatus

Hey folks, going to be dipping into a quick update as we head into August, along with some bigger news as we get into it.

Firstly, apologies for the lack of end-of-month content for July: I've come down with a pretty awful flu, and muscle pains are making it difficult to draw. I'm on the butt end of it now, so I'll (fingers crossed) be able to finish off the rest of July's content in the coming week.

Secondly! I've been discussing plans intermittently on the discord, but with Patreon's new ToS, its increase in charges for patrons, and with artists being removed (and platforms like Subscribestar and Pixiv Fanbox failing to be great alternatives) I've been looking towards putting Patreon on hold. I don't feel as if my content is in any immediate danger of removal, but I'm not a fan of the very anti-artist approach it's taking. Come the end of August, I'll be putting a huge pause on what I've been doing here.

What does this mean? Well! A few things. It means I'll be able to post art/sketches on Twitter more often, and it'll also mean (for fans of the Venti tier) I'll be starting up commissions again. I've been wanting to move away from the subscription model and go back to being a more sociable artist for some time now, and this feels like a good opportunity to get back into the hobby-side of art. Obviously if things don't work out, I'll look towards Patreon again, but for now, I'm willing to try and see how far I get.

As for August in general, I'll be uploading the end of July as well as some new content for August (sketches, pinups, etc.) But once that's done, it'll be hats off for (hopefully) some time.

Anyway! I'm writing this up because I want to thank you guys immensely for the support you've given up until this point. Thanks to you all, I've been able to reignite my desire to draw, and I've got so many projects I want to work on as a result (including one for August that I think you guys'll like!)

Of course, the Discord will still be up! I hope to see you guys more often, and once I get better, I'll be streaming some art as August continues.
