Time will soon tell... did she only have enough time to get her overalls back on? (also, the passive aggressive / guilttrip comment from her mom is a feel I'm quite familiar with... the culprit being myself. I used be quite the asshole without realizing it, when someone let me down or wasted my time I'd throw in a comment in a similar vein to Amanda's mom. Eventually it strained some friendships until I realized I was the problem. Changing my manner of thinking and choice of words for moments of frustration took a lot of time and effort but it was worth it for healthier conversations and relationships. Sorry for random /blog but that single panel gave me some big introspection throwback.)
