My niece (accidentally) broke my camera cord, which always has to be plugged in when I'm filming. I've ordered a new one, and it's supposed to get here tomorrow, so the new reaction will be up on Patreon Sunday or Monday.
I'll be watching a sequel I've been wanting to get to for a very long time: Rocky II! I enjoyed the first one a whole lot, so I'm really looking forward to it! Be lookin' out for the next movie poll tomorrow, which will be for Film Friday 117.

You had to drive 45 miles to find a theater that was showing Rocky?

2024-04-22 15:00:35 +0000 UTCI remember climbing in a car with 4 of my buddies and driving 45 miles to Springfield Illinois to see the first Rocky in the theater when it came out. I was 15. Love the Rocky movies, but yeah, the first two were special. My personal favorite of the franchise though is the last one, Balboa. Old guy stuff. 🙂

2024-04-22 13:22:20 +0000 UTCRocky II is not as good as Rocky I, but still very good as far as sequels go. After that, the saga starts to evolve into more typical Hollywood/action movies. They're still enjoyable..but they're "movies", whereas the first film was "cinema".
