2024-04-13 05:03:50 +0000 UTCThat's the coach's job to argue with the refs. 1. He can't afford for his players to foul out with technicals. 2. He's less likely to be tossed than one of the players. 3. He's more likely to influence the refs future calls than his players are. 4. In regards to player safety, it's better for him to address the refs, than for the players to handle it on the floor. It could get ugly. Better a screaming match than continuous cheap shots or a rumble.
