Henry Fonda (Stewart's longtime friend) painted Pie during their shoot of The Cheyenne Social Club (B-Western material elevated by the two leads, lots of fun). 2024-02-08 00:34:06 +0000 UTCMadison, I hope you can react to My Darling Clementine (1946) sometime. Might be John Ford's most poetic work (along with The Grapes of Wrath). Lovely allegory (Wyatt Earp & co. are just placeholders) and gorgeous B&W cinematography.
