First off you must see the movie Almost Famous…………………….. George Lucas wrote American Graffiti, based on his on his own high school experiences and he had a bitchin car himself and almost did in an accident when he was in high school. Ron Howard was the youngest on the set next to Mackenzie Phillips who was only 12. Ron was I think only 18 and of course a child star in the Andy Griffith show. He acted since he was like 4 or 5. His brother Clint was also a child star and played in a TV show called Gentle Ben https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gentle_Ben. This movie came out in 1974 and I was in high school at the time a freshman and this movie was a super hit for kids. I saw the movie I think on TV right before I graduated so it was very relatable. In my town kids still did cruising like in the movie, but to Motown hits 😊 or rock and roll like Elton John. I still remember as a senior cruising with my friends and getting some brew and listening to the Elton John song Tiny Dancer like in the movie Almost Famous. The soundtrack was awesome. Right now, when kids listen to classic rock they are listening to 70's music like Led Zeppelin or maybe even Black Sabbath or the Stones. If you were a kid on the 70's your classic rock was the soundtrack of American Graffiti.
