2025-06-14 22:33:15 +0000 UTCI get what you mean about that scene where he sees K pulling up out of nowhere on the motorcycle and even the part where he is beating himself up. It confuses me too b/c that looked more like someone with schizophrenia than someone with split or multiple personalities. Your comments made me want to do some research on the condition lol! Bris got me out here researching junk ya'll! Anyway, based on the research I found that although people with split personalities (disassociative identity disorder or DID) can't also have schizophrenia, some symptoms, like delusions or hallucinations, can sometimes overlap between the two conditions which is why DID is sometimes misdiagnosed as schizophrenia. So based on that I'm thinking that even though in reality he went to go get the motorcycle, his condition is causing him to have delusions/hallucinations as if it's not him. So I guess the writers or whoever directed these scenes wants the viewers to still sometimes see things the way the main lead is seeing it in his head whether it's actually happening in reality or only in his head so maybe we can get a fuller experience of what it's like to actually be him? And that also leaves a lot more room for comedic relief in my opinion. IDK for sure but that's the only way I can make sense of it for now lol.
