My favorite on this list is Silverado. Forsaken is good too, Still haven't seen Young guns. But I'm guessing you like gritty westerns (and kevin Costner) so I bet you will love Open range.......I don't know your mind that well, I could be wrong. (Tipping my Stetson) Have a nice day Ma'am!

I'll start by telling you that even though I've been pushing for a double feature of "Young Guns" and " Young Guns 2", I voted for "Silverado" this time. Some how "Forsaken" has fell through the cracks for me, but I love Kiether Sutherland, a love affair that started with "Young Guns" as a child for me, and his father, but I don't really know that one. "Silverado" is a fun one though. Written by Lawrence Kasdan, who wrote "The Empire Strikes Back", "Return of the Jedi", "Raiders of the Lost Ark", and his brother as a tribute to the old Hollywood western, and has a great ensemble cast, including Kevin Costner, who Lawrence Kasdan also directed in " Wyatt Earp". It's a tribute to an era that spanned decades where Hollywood created a west that never was. It combines the elements of all that era, and is just a fun flick. "Open Range" also starting Kevin Costner, and not only one of America's greatest cowboys (Lonesome Dove) but also one of America's greatest actors, Robert Duvall, and in contrast, it's more of a realistic look at what the west was. "Young Guns", I don't know. Not sure if I'd say it was in the middle. It was a different 80's version of the west, I guess.
