I love this man, many people expected at a rap album but he gave us an album where he mostly sings, here it's an artist that he can give us something new even at 37 years old. You are saying that this dude wants to go in the western's side when he didn't even have lyrics at his mvs in 2025, now you have them because you are kinda late but the fans had to search them when the album came out, they put them after days😂 If GD wanted to go in the western's market, he would have started to have promotions years back when Big Bang won an MTV, they where interested of them or him especially, he was mentioned a lot over the years too by many international celebrities, he could have had so many collabs if he wanted. You are not really a fan of GD and you don't know him that well but he had a few collabs with some western artists in the past too, Missy Elliott for example, it's not the first time, like he really likes them and this thing with Paak it's not new either, they just waited for a timing, they had interactions years back. And I'm pretty sure that he has more English because he said it himself, he felt the love in the past too but now more than ever he felt how much the fans all around the world(not just Korea) loves him and waited for him, he has Japanese and Chinese in this song too and his fans were so touched by it. Honestly, it makes more sense for BP's and BTS's members to want to go more internationally because they are big internationally, I mean why not if the people are more open to it?! i do see some people saying that it's not kpop anymore but what it's exactly kpop?! Well, let me tell you, we call it kpop because they are Koreans but the music it's just music. As an old kpop fan, I can tell that the kpop had always American influences since HOT days, if the idols are asked about idols in general/favorite artists, then and now, the answer it's usually American artists. Many kpop artists have said it over the years. Also, many people probably don't have idea that many of their favorite "kpop" songs have also Americans producers in their production, yeah, it's a fact and it's not something new, the older songs too.
