This was VERY hard to watch, I had to skip through a lot of the scenes, but it is a good movie.

2025-03-12 22:07:02 +0000 UTCAs someone who isn't a crier and quite desensitized, the part that made me ball my eyes out was when he holding Min-su's photo while getting blasted with water. It was my first time watching the movie. Now I'm off to watch your reaction to 20th Century Girl (which I also haven't seen), I can't go to sleep like this. Gong Yoo is too good of an actor.

2025-03-04 17:39:48 +0000 UTCThere’s a true crime podcast called Rotten Mango and she goes into detail about this. I’ve noticed a lot of Kpop reactors are watching and reacting to her. There is so much more to this story.

2025-03-01 07:40:57 +0000 UTCI really suggest watching rotten mango’s episode on this! Her storytelling and all the research she and her team did on this case really touched on all the things that happened. It’s so heartbreaking

2025-02-25 04:57:20 +0000 UTCI’ve always heard of this film but was too scared to watch and my fears were correct. I had to skim through. Just straight up evil. Those poor babies☹️ I recommend you check out Hyung starring D.O from EXO.

2025-02-25 00:42:32 +0000 UTCThis is based off of real events and the movie didn't even portray the worst of it. I suggest watching Rotten Mango for a proper telling of what happened.

2025-02-24 21:47:10 +0000 UTCMy former classmate told me her fav k-movie was Silenced. So I went to watch it based on her recommendation. I was shocked when I saw the disturbing scenes. I had to look away too from those scenes. There were just too many disturbing scenes that I hesitated watching till the end. But I wanted to know if justice prevailed at the end of the movie, especially because it’s a true story, but I was heavily disappointed that the reality was as so. After watching the movie, I looked up the real case, and like the movie, the perpetrators were only given 8 months of imprisonment for a crime they had committed for decades. Despite the disturbing scenes, I did suggest this movie to people around me, because of the awareness and message in this movie.

2025-02-24 11:16:34 +0000 UTChey bris just some information on the case . this case was very not well known at the beginning to the point not many people except for the city people knowing it. howver this movie that was made by a writer gained so much love that people in korea revisited the case and outraged at the punishments. the school got closed from then on.
