Look at the show from two perspectives…as the viewer we know early on in the show that he may die… he also knows early on in the show that he may die but neither the viewers or the male lead knows WHEN it’s going to happen…so the show plays out and he goes on with his life knowing everyday could be his last ( in the viewers case we go through every episode with the impending thought of the first scene when he was laid out on the snow)… yet we’re laughing with him… going on adventures…crying with him and all unconsciously aware of his fate…

2025-01-30 17:23:28 +0000 UTCYou know what’s really good, *Arthdal Chronicles* with Song Joong ki, I watched it when it was released, it’s still on Netflix, and it was sooo good. The first season I remember I was crying and all that lmao when I’m immersed.. it’s good 😌 lol it was one of the best I saw in years back then. And I just found out the 2nd season is on Hulu. I’m going to see what’s up, because I remember being like WHERE IS S2? so you definitely have to check that out at some point. Im sure you will like it.

2025-01-29 08:46:00 +0000 UTCThe last episode never fails to make me cry, no matter how many times I rewatch it. :,) I am so happy you enjoyed the drama as much as I, it also quickly became my favorite kdrama of all time and made me a big fan of the main actor Woo Do Hwan; I have since watched like 10 dramas of his lol. Also, idk if you know this: Pretty sure the writer of this show also wrote 'It's Okay to Not Be Okay'. 😊 The last scene with the car driving away becomes more sad when you think about the fact that Haejo probably tried to teach her to drive in case he dies so she can get back herself. Plus, he maybe drove to this location because it's a long straight road and Jaemi can't drive through curves yet. It makes me devistated to think of her driving back alone. I want to at least know if she becomes happy and idk adopts a child. :( That last scene with the car could also be a metaphor for Haejo going to heaven or smth, like driving towards the horizont.
