2024-11-24 22:15:05 +0000 UTCas a dancer I think the problem with the judges is that they chose all "Kpop dancers" and there were no "dancer dancers" in the jury like the did in the other seasons. not saying that Kpop dancing is bad or is not actual dancing but it's definitely different and they don't be looking for the same things in a dance. to me it's the same vibe as getting hiphop dancers to judge classical dancers. both is dancing but it's completely different styles so the judging won't be accurate

The performance videos for some of these songs are pretty sick, especially sub-leaders. Wootae made a great choreo for the whole song!

There’s even a video years before SMF that the choreographer for say my name said he made it for Ateez and thought it would be an iconic move. It was a big deal cause just like you spotted that move so did everyone else. Then to have so many idols dance to his piece with that move when everyone in the Kpop world knows that an Ateez move 😬Ateez Wooyoung when freestyling made the biting symbol that stands for coping and did the slide walk move that Vata copied. Every song had a different vibe, so you may like one vibe compared to the others, but doesn’t mean that one crews dance to a song wasn’t good for that particular vibe. A dance may seemed relaxed to you or not that good, but for the song chosen, it’s actually really good, (coming from a dance lover)☺️

So, I think him coming on SMF was just for enjoyment and to have fun, especially when battling (just like waackxy from mannequeen), hence why he looks so relaxed when dancing! However, I will say, that a lot of his battles were talked about when this show was airing. He's a very skilled dancer so there's little things that he does (technical or musicality) that dancers are impressed with. Thus, some battles, people believed he should've won.
