That's exactly why she didn't tell her mom at first because she br making everything all about her and she wanted to deal with it her way. Even in the moment of finding out she didn't console her, bust instead scolded her for not telling her first. IMO...mom is self centered and selfish

I never even thought her being sick was an issue but her hiding what really happened and them making us think it was someone cheating was a huge twist for me to find out he wasn’t cheating and a pretty good guy. Also as someone who went through a cancer diagnosis I sobbed this entire episode. I don’t know how she did it without her family. For the falling together thing I don’t think he meant he would go into depression with her but just sticking by her in her darkest hour and helping her get what she needs. I think protecting your own mental health is important but I also believe if you’re in a relationship that is headed to marriage or is marriage you should be working together and understanding. You can’t hold back because you might hurt the other. Seung Hyo might have been harsh but it was what she needed to hear and prob what HyunJun should have done in the past. This is why people divorce and breakup so easily. Look at the main guys parents. They are obviously in love with each other but since there is no communication the husband just wants a divorce. He hasn’t even asked her. And she’s been working with that guy for over twenty years… not once has he asked or brought it up Crazy! I didn’t really notice you looking at your phone much. Sometimes you be going on and on with your predictions that you miss important plot points. And you never go back. Or you pause right before they explain what is going on. Kdramas have a lot of little background things that help move along the story. I think it’s because they have to squeeze it all into 12-16 episodes. I do agree the will they won’t they lasts way too long.

By the way, I know you were trying to say you're "just playing" but if it really does bother you so much to be made aware that you've missed something than you won't be seeing that kind of comment again from me. Even though it happens all the time I only mentioned it a couple times and this last time I only did it b/c you were so adamant and confident about the fact that they gave ABSOLUTELY NO HINTS about her being sick even though they did. A hint is a hint regardless of whether we notice it or think it's a good enough hint. If you hadn't been so confident about that while criticizing the storyline I would've held back on commenting about it just like all the other times I held back b/c I know it can't be easy reacting to stuff for the first time and having to read subtitles while probably having to be aware of a lot of other things we probably have no idea about as you're reacting (which is something I actually commented about on another one of your reactions when others were giving you a hard time about the same thing lol). I just thought it might not be such a good idea to be so dogmatic about something like that when you know there could possibly be something you missed. I guess I just thought you'd be okay with it since you're always encouraging us to let you know in our comments if you've missed something and explain what you've missed. But again, if it bothers you I won't mention it again. Also I'm hoping when you say it's not a plot twist that you just mean you don't think it's a good plot twist. That I can understand b/c it's just your opinion and then the whole "agree to disagree" makes sense. But if you're saying it wasn't a plot twist at all then I don't get that b/c if we're going by the actual definition, a plot twist is just something that happens in the story that's unexpected. As always, love your reactions regardless.
