2024-11-05 05:46:55 +0000 UTCi think if you're not familiar and you don't listen to jpop you would really not appreciate it. the song is actually not that bad it's just that we are not the target market. asa and ruka are both japanese and this type of song is actually pretty common in jpop. so i think it makes sense for them to release smth like this.

Really like you - this one heavily reminds me of old yg like maybe bcs it's produced and written by airplay and mino. it sounds like an early ikon and winner song with a little bit of 2ne1 lol 2. love in my heart - this one just feels nostalgic for some reason i really love it 3. billionaire - this is like 'like that' 2.0 lol not a bad thing tho love the rnb pop of it and they sound really good in these type of songs 4. love maybe - VOCAAAALS *chef's kiss* the whistle?! harmony?! just wow!! i feel like i'm a princess from a disney movie lmao reminds me of cinderella singing with the birds and the animals 5. clik clak - this one is not a bad song, i like it. i can say it's v addictive like once you listen to it, i can hear myself singing along. (ik this one is also a title track but i still consider it as a bside lol) 6. woke up in tokyo - okay so a lot of people have been hating on this song since the preview release and they are so not fun hating this. this is not a bad song like i think it's their expectations that disappointed them like when yg said we're gonna have a rapline unit song i also expected smth like volkno yk just like hard rap but when i heard the preview and the full song i really like it. i enjoyed it, it's a fun song yk and it actually suits ruka and asa. they're japanese and these kind of song is actually pretty common in japanese music so i think it suits their image and them. it's a really fun song, the lyrics are fun and witty. people just love to hate 🤦♀️ also one of the composer and lyricist said on their ig story after preview release "while everyone's expecting we go west, we taking it to the far far east 🇯🇵 this is hip-hop" and i agree bcs this is literally a j-pop song all songs are really different from each other so it's really hard to like rank them but this album def is a BOP. no skip for me!!
