When you started reacting to kpop (cuz I’ve been with you since the beginning), bigbang was starting their military service and then around 2 years later, Seungri’s scandal broke out and it was low key radio silence after that 😬 but despite that, bigbang is still THE kpop group. The kings. GD is a king on his own as well.

That's why he wrote so many 8s in his lyrics. You can see the Metro map on 2:03, it's a track-list of his up coming album, there are 8 tracks. The last line of lyrics ("Fly high"): The original Korean lyrics' pronunciation is "Pal Pal Nara" (Means fly high). There is a wordplay as well, 'Pal' is 8, same pronunciation, and 'Pal Pal' is kind of onomatopoeia, 'Nara' is Flying, so this line was translated flying high in English. And that's why the ending scene shows 8 8 (Pal Pal) and GD jumps (Flying) (Nara) In addition, he came back in 88 months since his last comeback. Übermensch is a german word that describes a concept from philosophy that means a human that has outgrown himself or herself, that is no longer burdened by the sorrows of ordinary people. (like okay professor GD) 2. on the show YOO QUIZ, GD mentioned how him always being in the studio felt like he was on the TRUMAN SHOW. the POWER mv references this starting entering the studio GD has been confined in and ending with him freeing himself, just like the character in the movie 3. GD laughing at the end of his 4hr investigation (he laughed because they keep trying to accused him but because he got receipts and tested negative already a few times, it really was just a waste of time) then right after that investigation he donated millions to fight drug abuse 4. G-Dragon born on August 18, 1988, made a comeback after 88 months on the year of the dragon. This song was released at 18:00. Then if you noticed the metro map in the mv; there are 8 song titles written including power so i think the album will also have 8 songs in it. 5. in the newsroom table there is an eyeglass and it looks the same as the one he wore on the day of the investigation.
