You are saying that it's the same thing for all the ten episodes with 'I like you' or 'I don't like you' but are we forgeting the fact that he will die?! They are young so the kdrama it's supposed to be a little childish but we are still talking about a death, unlike other kdramas, it makes sense here, Sol is not that weird. It seems that you don't feel that much these slow romance kdramas but most people loved it for this reason, all these cute/romantic scenes between them, they have chemistry and the idea of how they always knew each other but she had to go back in time to remember... I mean just saying. I watched many many kdramas but I didn't find this kdrama that common, it gave me such a nice breeze, it's definitely good for the romance genre.

The one that doesn’t know him and their connection and the one that does. Her future self. I think that because of the dramatic change in personality is the reason why he still loves her. He must be so confused and not understand why she changes back and forth. If you listen to the song her wrote and remember the original timeline. And the fact that the song is so prominent through out the episodes is supposed to help us understand how deeply he felt for her. As far as time stopping. She cannot reveal major events that have happened. The song already existed he just wrote it. He telling him all that about being from the future doesn’t matter because no one would take her seriously any way. They would think she was crazy. He just happens to also have other reasons to believe her because he’s seen it first hand. Like her warning him about his injury. She didn’t directly tell him but kept trying to keep him from competing. He’s not an idiot and he started to form his own theories. I think it’s kind of funny when Terry goes on his rants because if he just waited a bit longer they start explaining…. But I love to hear the theories.

That statement isn’t specific (like how, when, where, why) honestly, I think the writers were making stuff up as they go 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Time stops when the writers want it to stop.

I'm not defending Im Sol though, as I said there are surely better ways to handle the situation, but I understand where she's coming from))

2024-08-14 12:33:52 +0000 UTCI agree with the others , the time stopping thing : it was to be something specific that hasn’t happened in 2009 like”you’re going to die, Obama is president “ it did not stop with her singing the song because he already wrote it . Maybe time would’ve stopped if she would say “you are an idol that’s how I know the song” because that has not happened , he’s not an idol yet . I think her saying out loud I’m from the future is considered a fact /statement that would explain a lot of how she knows things because it’s not a future prediction. I.e “I’m from the future” (this is a fact , it is already happening, time won’t stop) vs “I’m going to be from the future and going to time travel (that would be something that has not happened so time would in fact stop)

2024-08-14 11:51:37 +0000 UTCI agree that it is quite annoying how Im Sol is pushing Sun Jae away and that she is doing it in a very mean and bad type of way but at the same time we know that she loves him and she knows that if he stays with her, he will die - and the worst part: because of her. She already tried multiple times to change the past/future and every time Sun Jae got hurt or died because of her. All I want to say is that while there surely are better ways of rejecting him or make him fall out of love with Im Sol, she must be very desperate to send him away.

And after thinking about it for a sec I realized when she was talking about other people's future and time stopped she wasn't talking to Sun Jae, she was screaming about the future of actors that were in a show his dad was watching when he wasn't there so she could sneak into his room and I think time also stopped when she was trying to tell other characters in the show about their future's directly but I would have to go back and re-watch those episodes to make sure and Lord knows I'm too lazy for that. It's not that important to me lol.

2024-08-14 04:53:23 +0000 UTCI think when she talks about the future, it has to be specific like if I was talking to someone and said you know I’m gonna die in the next few days or so and so is going to become the president of this year you don’t necessarily know if that’s the truth or not like I might be lying to you but in her case it has to be specific to the truth of her life so she can say general things that may or may not be true but if it’s something that in actuality is true of her timeline then I think that’s when time pauses. I think it has to be something specific that said for time to stop but saying something more general like I’m from the future, which can be said in context aligned from a movie or something like that.

Just FYI if that is what you were thinking. And she was just thinking that might be the reason, she wasn't being dogmatic about it; there is no way she would know the reason for sure unless someone who knows told her.

You will die, You are an idol, you will be killed by so-and-so, etc. ) She can talk about HER future but time will stop when it mentions Sun Jae/pertains to him. We forget but this whole time traveling started because of Sun Jae. Memories: I've interpreted that something/someone has to happen to bring up/trigger an old memory.

But hey it’s a drama, fiction, it’s bound to have some unrealistic aspects.

Notice when she says something vague time don’t stop but when she start getting into details it does. When she talking about “god want me to save him” she was talking to herself and then when she went to explain in real time that’s when time stopped.
