lol I legitimately don't remember the editing being this awful. the first time i watched it when it first aired it seemed ok but holy hell the cuts are too frequent and way too long

I believe that maybe because I can't get to see a full screen performance (specially on the freestyle, they cut a lot to all over the place, I CAN'T CONCENTRATE, hard to see) it frustrates me a little bit... sometimes there's more screaming screen time than the dance itself. I know they post the full performance elsewhere but still... idk. (First time watching dance competition fyi.) I like and vibe with some of the dances but... idk. Hoping to have a better episode next week. Thanks for sharing this reaction.

Personally, I think Western influence has really taken off since BTS blew up. After HYBE came into the scene, it feels like everyone's eyes are mostly on the Big 4 now. Fans are all about streaming songs from these big names, which wasn’t really the case before. it’s harder for smaller groups to get noticed. If you want that 2016-2019 K-pop vibe, look beyond the Big 4. There are many smaller groups with awesome music that are worth checking out.
