This ranges from actors, singers, mcs/hosts, etc. Yoo Jae Suk, the host, is veeeeery popular and well respected among celbs. Even Jungkook before he became a Fitness fanatic started as a just a singer in Turbo back in the day known for his softer ranges. Everyone has a history. The o.g. cast did change over the years. Youve seen descendants of the sun? Joong Ki, the leading man, man was in the cast then along with rapper kang gary. Jihyo played into the onscreen love triangle with these two which was funny. This was after Gary left and Somin joined. The show definitely gave a lot of attention and exposure to some of today's big named celebrities in Korea. It helped people see them in a new light, as actually people with varying personalities. Exo, BTS, blackpink, IU, GIrls generation, got7, seventeen, hyuna, shinee, 2ne1, and many more. I do hope you end up checking out more. It's a journey 😊

The production team will go all out building fake business and hiring actors to fool the members of the show. I believe they have 3 seasons and it’s up to 10-12 episodes! I love this show. If you want me to suggest episodes of known idols you like, I can do that for you. ☺️

I think ep 244 is the first time she was on the show, that episode is hilarious, it’s a wedding theme with other female guest as well. The female lead from “It’s ok to not be ok” is also in that episode as well, hopefully you can react to that one of you can find it

2024-08-02 09:44:18 +0000 UTCI’m throwing a lot of information but these are the typical characters each running man members are portrayed as: kwangsoo always plays dirty, sabotages his own members and his nickname was ‘betrayer’ for the longest time. He’s always fighting with jongkook or somin. Somin plays the hopeless romantic and falls for every male guest star, she’s very goofy. Jungkook is that strong one obviously, so during physical games everyone wants to team up with him, everyone teases him for being single or ships him with every female guest, he gets angry very easily if the members prank him but thats the whole running gag. Yoo jaesuk is the leader/host/mc that really runs the whole show, without him there probably won’t be a sense of direction with the way shootings go, he’s also incredibly smart so he aces at quizzes. Haha wants to be young forever and tries to follow every trend the gen z does, which is y he sucks up to BTS or Blackpink when they appear, he’s very sly too. Yang sechan is a bit similar to haha and aka somin’s boyfie. Ji sukjin is the oldest but he’s seen as a pushover or the weakest out of all the members so everyone gangs up on him every time he says something. The so called smart members are jaesuk, jungkook and sukjin. So called dumb members are somin, jihyo, sechan and haha. Jihyo is the quiet and reserved but back in the older episodes, she was really the star, doing all the extreme challenges like jumping off a tall building when all the guys were crying, she gets shipped w jungkook time to time as both are single.

So, they gotta cut down or edit out/skip all of things that happen to fit the 1.5-2 hr broadcast they get every week. Which is y u see somi get edited out, probably because it wasn’t as funny too . When u watched blackpink on running man, Lisa also got edited out from a game she played

You gotta check out sixth sense, it’s a really short variety show prob abut 8 eps with 3 seasons, u could probably watch any random episode like the one with Kai is hilarious. The cast consisted of yoo jaesuk, jessi, Jeon somin, mijoo and many more
