2024-08-08 21:05:52 +0000 UTCtrue XD but nevertheless I think the relationships between all the characters (romantic ones too) and the drama are build so well in Scarlet Heart (especially towards the end) that he still might like it + as it is a historical drama, it might be less weird how they portray romance bc it doesn't look or feel like our present time if it makes sense lol. But we'll see, the odds that we will be watching any of those two k-dramas are really low anyways XD

2024-07-29 15:35:56 +0000 UTCi definitely get your pov about the music and such. the best part about Ji Chang Wooks fight scenes is he did the stunts himself! which is why this was his last “action” up until recently with The Worst of Evil bc he said this show took a toll on his body the most. i hope you’ll check out Taxi Driver. i know you’ll definitely love the fight scenes and the soundtrack is 🔥

It was released 2 years before K2 and is way more up your alley than K2 imo

2024-07-28 14:49:08 +0000 UTCI’m not that interested in castles and museums and architecture in Europe. When I go to Europe it’s all about the scenery in the countryside parts. It’s really breathtaking in some parts. And in south Italy, Greece, and Portugal there are beautiful beaches with mountains all around. I also go to Europe for the food because I have a lot of food sensitivities with the food in the U.S. But I can pretty much eat anything I want in other countries including Europe. The horrible chemicals they allow to be processed in our food in the U.S. they don’t allow in other countries. But I do love South Korea more for sure. Europe is a place I only like to visit. But I feel like I could actually live in South Korea.

Once you’re capable of puncturing a window with a sharp tool, the surrounding area becomes fragile enough to break entirely. The questioning comes in with how he was able to put so much force in a throw lollll. It’s like how sometimes a cup that’s falling would break from the bounce and not the first initial impact.

2024-07-25 11:17:43 +0000 UTCAnd 2016 k-dramas are really a genre of its own XD so I understand that most of them are not really your cup of tea, it just has that major nostalgic feeling for some of us I guess)) however I do extremely recommend Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo (2016 as well, if I'm not mistaken), that drama is a legend amongst k-dramas, the cast, the acting, the STORY, in general looks - everything is amazing and watching you react to the newer k-dramas, I actually think, you would really enjoy it (don't want to give any spoilers XD)

I honestly think this drama is a complete tier above the worst of evil. the plot is just superior to the worst of evil. the worst of evil is very good acting due to the cast however I do think the plot is very bland and repetitive

But I could be wrong idk Also if you think 2016 dramas are not it… man, you would NOT survive boys over flowers 🤣 and that drama is a *classic* but I get it, you have to grow up on it/live through that era to really GET IT, you feel me?

2024-07-25 04:05:54 +0000 UTCYour description of European buildings had me hollering 😂 when I went to Italy there was some places I loved and some places I wasn’t feeling so I get it lmao I guess you wouldn’t want to watch Memories of the Alhambra then since most of it takes place in Spain😆 The lead actress is Yoona from girls generation btw I don’t remember a lot of this drama. I just remember the ending being super satisfying and justice being served.

I can't compare but, just like BTS paved the way for K-pop music; Goblin, The K2, Hwarang, Love in the Moonlight, A Korean Odyssey are some of the K-dramas that I would say "paved the way" for me personally. Maybe, we get excited to show you what brought us into the "k-drama world", however, it is understandable if you don't like it. Like we say in my country "Taste is like @ss, everyone has their own". (Sorry for the bad word, not sure if you have anything similar to it in English.. lol). I respect your honesty! Let's go with the best.

So I think that it shaped your vision and idea of kdramas, so I do understand it might not be your style HAHA! For me this is one of my favourite shows as it was one that open the door for me in the kdrama world! But i have the same issue with even older kdramas like Boys Over Flowers that I cannot watch because i just don't like it since I started with "newer" kdramas like The Heirs 😂 but anyways, I wished you would love this one hahahaha but its fine if you go with the Worst of Evil, my boy Ji Chang Wook is there too🫶🏼 glad you still gave it a try
