Yes they are a co-ed group but they are siblings. What makes the unique is the sound of their music which is produced by Chanhyuk the brother. Suhyun s' voice is just crazy good she has a lot of covers on a show called 'Begin Again' you should definately look into that show as well.

And then they put out 200% which was the song they blew up with, they’re just fun and creative with their lyrics that’s why we like them. And their siblings so things can never go wrong with that kind of group😄 if they fight it’s fine, they can split but we know they are still family so it’s cool🥴

They had lived in Mongolia for a while and came back to Korea for this audition. They performed mostly on their own songs and even won first place in the program. AKMU means Akdong Musician. What Akdong means is a Naughty child. I think their strength is their honest and bouncy lyrics that make a lot of people empathize. It's a shame that there are no subtitles.😭

They won superstar k I think, Lee hi came second and so on. As u can see, their music dabbles with a lot of genres and ballads r one of their strongest points I must say. Their music really accompanied me on the way to high school 💓 pls react to taeyeon next, hers is gonna be amazing

Akmu mv featured so many a list stars and fellow yg colleagues right from their debut such as ikon's bobby. They are a sibling duo btw. Their sister, Suhyun, did her first ever live performance under YG at g dragons concert , she sang the female part for Gd's song missing you, their interaction during that performance was sooo cute, wish you could check it out. That performance you could probably find it with subs on yt

AKMU appeared in Season 2 (Bang Yedam was also there) and from their 1st round, everyone was just in love with them. BoA, JYP and YG (judges of KPOPSTAR) were very very impressed by them - vocals, sibling's chemistry. They composed and performed their own songs for almost every round and they won that season. I love the girl's vocals (Suhyun) and their songs were very lovely and fitting to my age at that time

My fav songs of them is DINASOUR and HOW CAN I LOVE THE HEARTBREAK, YOU’RE THE ONE I LOVE (it’s the song that came after dinasour) Fun fact, the female singer (Lee Suhyun) sang one of the OST from IT’S OKAY NOT TO BE OKAY.
