2024-04-27 20:41:23 +0000 UTCiu is probably one of the most successful artists/kpop idol that made it big as an actress too, she's incredibly good at acting and shes been the lead in hotel de luna, scarlet heart, my mister and also the latest movie with park seojun (itaewon class) called dream, she's releasing songs and dramas and movies back to back for yrs which is insane, so yes shes very into her craft and career, very hard working woman. aside from this she has a youtube channel with a show called palette, many actors like gongyoo has been on it, also idols guests like bts, shinee, newjeans, svt etc and they cover eachother's songs with their own remix of it which is so interesting, u should def check out more of her, she's definitely fun but is more introverted compared to all the extremely energetic/extroverted idols ur used to hahahaha

2024-04-27 08:15:09 +0000 UTCHi ! Correct me if I’m wrong but one of the reason IU is more « serious » is maybe because she comes from a very poor background and had to mature faster. She also lost her three friends Jonhyun, Hara and Sulli who committed suicide, I think some of her music refers to that. Another killing voice I would recommand is Punch (especially if you love some iconic ost)

I do however, agree that her music and style of singing is not for everyone. Her concerts are packed with celebrities and she is a queen at live singing, you should check out her live in concert rendition of her song with V (Love wins all). For her playful side, you should check out her show call IU palette with guests like V, JHope, Suga, seventeen, AKMU, New Jeans and many others.
