Saturday Flashback: Romanclature

It being August, named for the genuinely august emperor Augustus, I decided to use this flashback to surface a few stories that bring up those toga-wearing noble bastards of the Eternal City. I’m including the ancient Greeks as well, partly because it was the merger of the Greek and Roman ethos that brought forth what later came to be called Western Civilization but mostly owing to the rather tangential connection to Rome that some of these stories have.
It’s still appropriate, expanding the field that way. After all, a radish may know no Greek, but Augustus did.
