CLASSIC DOOM MODS

Back from vacation with a video I've been thinking about for months, originally shelved around the time I decided to do Liquidator. All that time, I had footage of the Aliens TC burning a hole on my capture drive. I didn't know what else to talk about for a while. I wanted to revisit some of the weird stuff I remembered playing as a kid and yes, that includes Simpsons Doom.

Originally titled "Classic Doom WADs", I changed it because I worried people would expect me to play Fava Beans or something. Which I do, very briefly, but that was never the point. Nah, the TC was a wonderful thing and I'm not sure we have the same modding culture that created those or games that are easy enough to modify to do it. They'd get Foxed anyway.

After this, I'm going to start work on the Christmas episode, and following that is going to be a roundup-type video where I talk about all the fucking remasters that keep coming out. STOP WITH THE FUCKING REMASTERS EVERY GODDAMN WEEK.

Blood: Refreshed Supply comes out in two days and I might do a short, separate video for it. Honestly, the endless flood of shit to play is exhausting. I remember doing the video for Fresh Supply's original release, which was an awful time because of how borked that was at release. From what I've played of Refreshed Supply, these problems don't exist anymore.

I'm more excited to talk about the weird trash I have lined up for Christmas. Another re-release of Blood that seems to get it right because they actually had the source code would be more fun news if we didn't have one official port and a handful of others. Charging $30 for it fucking irks me as well. For that, I blame Atari, but I'm sure it'll eat into the sales regardless. And that's coming from someone who fucking loves Blood.
