I'd hoped to get this out a couple days after The Thing video, but YouTube's copyright system gave me some issues. I could have probably run it with ads that paid money to Lionsgate. However, YouTube's automatic ad placement might have put a Bob's Discount Furniture commercial at six different places over a nine minute video and fuck that. I did a few re-edits and got it cleared. Just mentioning Cigarette Burns got me to watch it again. Then, I went back and watched "Imprint," Takashi Miike's contribution, then "The Black Cat," where Stuart Gordon makes Jeffery Combs do a pretty good Edgar Allen Poe performance. October gets me more in the mood for horror than usual.

Cigarette Burns is a weird little TV movie that is, I guess, locked in Lionsgate's vaults and only streamable on Tubi, the service everyone forgets they have until they're suddenly hit with a craving for corny, forgotten 90's sitcoms. Why isn't this on Shudder?

If the quality looks a little suspect, it's because I ripped this straight from an old DVD! Buried in my library is this:

It's the only Masters of Horror episodes that I own bought probably 20 years ago. Been sitting on my shelf a while like a lot of DVDs except this one can't be replaced with a high-def version because, as far as I know, those don't exist except maybe on streaming?

Okay, back to editing the second spooky-season video.
