THE THING: THE GAME: THE REMASTER

It's October again, kids, and that means "horror" games, like this one, which has been requested for years. Like every horror game that gets requested for years Nightdive hit this one with the Remaster treatment last December and since then I've been planning to do it. I'd planned to do the non-remastered version but like I say in the video, this one is funnier. It feels like more or less the same game.

And, now that I think about it, it's been more than 20 years since I played this because I was in High School. I remember talking to someone about this stupid game, which I had on PC and they had on PS2.

PC Gaming was an isolating hobby back then. Imagine trying to discuss the finer points of Unreal Tournament 2003 when your friend has Unreal Championship on the PS2.

The remaster isn't much different from what I remember although I think they may have removed some junction boxes. That old Spoony video still haunts this game.

Hoping to get two more videos out this month: one more horror game and hopefully Cultic Chapter 2. Just like a couple years ago when Chapter 1 hit! It feels like it belongs in October. Episode 2 is especially creepy and atmospheric.
