Exophobia: Pew Pew and Boom Boom

A little treat before I'm locked in on October videos, Exophobia was a fairly recent release (the end of July is recent?) that I wanted to look at because it's sort of in the wheelhouse of this channel while being something a bit different. You can only play the latest Doom/Quake/Ultrakill riffs so many times before something garishly pixelated and extra-retro catches your attention. And with Boomstock happening right now on Steam it seems more important than ever to highlight one of the million shooters coming out in a saturated market. This is probably the only release you'll see in September because I've slotted in a second October video. I wasn't going to but then I remembered that Halloween is awesome.

I don't know why it didn't occur to me to put Condemned: Criminal Origins on my schedule before instead of the bigger, slightly more complicated video that will hit at the end of October. We're stepping away from the boomshoots for Condemned, but we're stepping far away from them for the video afterwards. It's not a point-and-click, though I do always want to do more of those, and watching this video closely might give away what it is.

I've changed my workflow a bit to have several different vids in the pipeline at once. Right now, work is going into the October videos and most of the gameplay is captured for those. After that, I'm hoping to start working on one of those really big videos that will probably be 90 minutes long. And then no one will be able to ask me where the Half-Life 2 video is ever again...
