This video was a blast to make. Fun from start to finish. I can't explain exactly why. Maybe something to do with reflecting on the energy of this game and how I lived through the exact time, place, and culture it exists in. And because it goes weird places. Weird. Places.

Well roger me backwards, there's a game I'd not thought about in a long old time. Though I do occasionally still catch myself whistling the tune from the opening cutscene, apparently subconsciously.

I feel like there's a lot of interest in the storytelling potential, what with the meta narrative of Zane's character, etc. But I feel, as a shooter, it doesn't really pick up until the last few levels and in general, it feels hard to criticise. Since it'll forever have that "it's supposed to be jank" on its side. I dunno.
