The confusing gameplay elements taken from different genres, the attempt at survival horror where you have too many resources and your enemies are more confusing than terrifying. The ambitious story told with all the care a microbudget can allow.
I've been sitting on this one for a while. About a year ago, I tracked down a copy of this game on the suggestions of patrons - it didn't work under Windows 10 and I abandoned it. Until someone linked me to a patched version that I immediately booted up. I couldn't stop playing it. I had to see where this thing went. These kinds of games can't simply be described, only shown, reflected in the individual player's descent into madness.

You Are Empty definitely belongs to a higher Slavjank Strata, along with, say, the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. game, Atomic RPG, Chaser and the like. I'd like to see the reaction Civvie gets from some true Slavjank, like The Void. That clock won't even be circular any more. (pro-tip: Chaser and The Void would be EXCELLENT episodes)

Also you play a dude that can emit a fancy-ass forcefield that stops bullets. And it has über in the name, and as we know, anything with ümlauts is worth trying.
