Did you see her in Never The Less? Such a good actress. I agree with Business Proposal. Very funny!! Loved it.

I actually honestly feel like it would’ve been a kinda bad ending if pildo survived because he would’ve prevented jiwoo from killing mujin because it’s not “right” and it’s “against” the law. she wouldn’t be able to give justice to her dad the way shes been planning to. All the work and sacrifices that she did to kill her dads killer and in the end all that was gonna happen was mujin getting arrested because pildo said it’s the only and better way?? Idk if that would’ve felt good for not just her but for the people watching too. I also felt really upset that pildo died but i think this answers your question of how jiwoo and pildo would end up together when hes a cop and shes a criminal. It wouldn’t have worked out either way.

it was to give Oh Hyejin no out from her revenge. Pildo was her second chance at living a life with a new purpose other than to avenge her dad, which is letting go of her past and giving herself a chance to be on a path different than the first one she chose or was led to choose by Mujin. Mujin needed her to have no chance at that, he wanted her not to betray the path he set for her and let's be honest if Pildo was still alive, she could always hesitate to kill, she could help arrest him and she would then be like her father, a member of the police, good till the end, the enemy of the organization. Mujin wanted her to become like him, in other words not betray him like her father did, to kill him on as an avenger like a member of the organization so that's why the authors needed to kill Pildo off. She needed to become the monster she always feared to become now that there is nothing and no one left to keep her human.

I agree with you on the whole, Pildo. Totally unnecessary. As you said, it was probably done for an emotional drive for the protagonist.
