Dunno if you want the spoiler of the red suit woman. She is the Samsin Halmoni, the triple goddess of childbirth and fate in Korean mythology. Samsin Halmoni would protect every child from birth. In this drama, we can assume she is the executor of God's will.

the thing about goblin is that it's like a puzzle with so many missing pieces that you gradually solve over each episode but they kept making it prolonging by adding lots of the 'lighthearted funny' filler scenes, but i guess its a technique the directors want to use so the audience gets really attached to all the memories with the characters cos from episode 8 onwards (from what i remember) starts getting really intense with lesser lighthearted scenes (which u might start missing). k dramas these days are more fast paced (lesser character development so i feel less connection with them)or focus on one problem throughout so i see why it is a slow burn for you. Now that i rewatch goblin with you after 6 yrs since its release, my standards have definitely become higher n i see it being 'slow burn' for me too. XD , i guess it was the nostalgia n ost that really left a good impression for me. But i rly do hope u finish goblin however long it takes, and react to more amazing older k dramas.

Hello! I'm your big fan from Korea. I wanna tell you some things that you didn't noticed in ep 8. I do not wanna give you any spoiler. I'm not good at English but I hope you understand. 1. Goblin's name is Kim shin, and Sunny told grim reaper that her real name is Kim sun. Kim shin and Kim sun are kinda similar. 2. When Goblin was writing something, grim reaper had pain. At that moment Goblin wrote a two-letter name, the first letter was Wang. Wang means king in Korean. 3. Goblin flew a fire wrapped in cloth, and there were two name on it. One was Wang *****(the name I mentioned in 2.) and the other one was Kim sun(same name as Sunny's real name). 4. You may already know, the red suit woman is god who blesses childs.
