When looking for Dr. Gil they saw that he was dead and shortly after get a suspicious text message from the "victims" saying they did what they had to do. Then we see what looks like a murder/suicide scene using what was used to burn the factory I believe... This would pin the murder of Dr Gil and the burning of the warehouse on them, dead people, case closed.
