Kitfox Games is co-publishing Caves of Qud!

Hello friends!

Some big news as of last Friday. We announced a publishing partnership with Kitfox Games! https://twitter.com/KitfoxGames/status/1684926687929057280

The big bullet points of the announcement are:

Kitfox is co-publishing Caves of Qud, which means help with marketing, managing storefronts, coordinating the release of feature arcs, etc. Our development process isn't changing.
We made a new trailer (see above) and new key art (see below).
🎉 Caves of Qud 1.0 is coming in 2024! 🎉

And some useful new links:

a new Caves of Qud newsletter — will update every few weeks leading up to the 1.0 launch
a new channel in the Kitfox Discord — for chatting about Qud. Our official discord is also still active and, in fact, we recently opened up the onboarding process.
the Kitfox Games twitch channel — keep an eye on it for Qud streams in the coming weeks

If you want to check out the visual effects you see in the trailer, they are live on beta! Switch to the 'beta' branch on Steam or download the beta zips on itch.io.

Also, if you happen to be going to Gamescom in Germany this year, Kitfox Games will have a booth showing Caves of Qud alongside Dwarf Fortress!

All in all, this is huge news for Caves of Qud. We've been friends with the folks at Kitfox for years and trust them to help us bring Caves of Qud to full fruition.
