Need to fix my sleeping pattern

I've been sleeping at 5am for a few months now. >< Any advice on fixing my sleep schedule? ><

And yea, make sure to have a dark room / to spend time in the dark because that produces melatonin afterwards. Body regulates sleep through melatonin and serotonin balance.

You can get some melatonine pills, they're natural and are really good to get restorative sleep. Also make sure to go outside at least 15 mins a day to get vitamin d / serotonin from sun rays. If you don't fall asleep after being under the dark for 30 mins it's best to just go do something that doesn't use screenlight (phone/pc), so getting manga or books that you want to read can be useful. I also personally put lofi in the background as music, but there's many other genres. And if you van work out in the morning / as soon as you wake up that will help you out. However, working out too late in the day will make it harder to sleep. Technically your body will want to go to sleep when you usually go to sleep. So eventually, you should be able to create a rythm that comes naturally.

Yes definately force yourself to wake early.. and exercise helps. Also eat dinner early, then have light food in the evening only. When sleeping turn all the lights out, and use something soft like classical music or a sleep sounds app

My bodyclock gets later and later than 5am and I have to pull an all-nighter to reset, but wouldn't really recommend it. Maybe do the "get up early" thing, so you're really sleepy the next night. (And don't end up staying half-awake on the computer). Try not to snack / drink tea too late in the evening, exercise if that's possible to tire yourself out. It usually takes a few days to set in a new pattern, so be strict until it is!

Try to wake up a bit earlier each day with an alarm. When trying to sleep, listen to very calm music in low volume (search in yt for the video: "relaxing and emotional nier replicant/automata music" title, which is soooo nice to fall sleep with. Or calm and relaxing classical music), this works for me so much too.

Lower the Room temperature if that’s a factor and yeah avoid having your phone next to your bed

Try letting go of your phone 1 hour before sleeping and just read a book. Works fine with me. :)
