Good News and Bad

So! Good news is I got me epidural wuich is already helping a LOT, so will not have to take so many take many breaks to rest my neck, and so this should greatly increase my productivity!
Which brings me to the bad news, had some power cutouts recently and it seems to have irreparable damage to my main render card's VRAM; me GTX 980ti cuts out even rendering the default cube 8<. On the bright side, lately I have been using my laptop to more or less double my render capacity as it has a mobile RTX 2070 being only within 3% of the desktop card's render speed with Cycles rendering and about 300% faster with Eevee.
Since there seem to be a huge supply shortage a replacement card may take a while to get a hold of, but at least I will still be able to make goodies the meanwhile, just not as high in volume as recently--tho hoping also that the magical spine juice will help balance that back out!

2021-06-17 15:48:19 +0000 UTCIf power cutouts have managed to damage your GPU, then that is a bit weird. Your power supply shouldn't have let through any damaging voltage fluctuations to your components. Are those something that happens often where you live? What PSU do you have? It may be a good investment to get a better power supply, a UPS, or both if those are a consistent problem..
