Yea it's crazy as I was thinking about the fire thing while editing this! Jimmy really doesn't want people to see how he is feeling, got to lock those feelings deep down inside. Really is a cool comparison between the two characters, both shows are so great! He's losing it all pretty fast!

2025-04-28 21:34:24 +0000 UTCIt's interesting when you realise that Jimmy has twice now concocted ideas of people being saved from fires. First was Huell saving the old folks from the church and the second is him saving a judge. Pretty telling for what's going on deep down with him considering how Chuck died. I personally think that BB & BCS's protagonists are different in this key aspect: Walt's superpower was convincing everyone he cared, Jimmy's is convincing everyone he doesn't. Walt isn't entirely guilt-free of course, but he really does get over things quickly but has to tell everyone it's affecting him. Whereas Jimmy deep deep down really is affected by what's happened but puts on a show to not feel it. We've seen twice (E2 & E7) him finding his hair falling out, a sign of stress.
